The near-infrared detector can conduct real-time online horizontal scanning detection of the moisture and coating of materials, It greatly reduces the occurrence of curl and solves the uniformity and consistency of coating, and improves the quality and cost control level of enterprise products.
Working Principle:
Molecular bonds, such as O-H bonds in water molecules and C-H bonds in oils and organic coatings, can absorb discrete near-infrared light, and these absorption amounts are in direct proportion to their content. The absorption amount is obtained by comparing the signal of the absorbed wavelength and some non-absorbed wavelength. The near-infrared light of different wavelengths is projected onto the tested material through the near-infrared filter. Each filter generates two internal and external beams. The external beam is collected and projected to the photo-detector through the dome mirror. The internal beam is only the optical path inside the instrument, playing a role of stable compensation. These signals can form an algorithm and output the results according to the proportion. After calibration, a measured reading will be directly output.
